François Declercq
François Declercq obtained his bachelor’s degree in law from the Facultés Universitaires Saint-Louis in Brussels in 2017 in the trilingual French - Dutch - English stream, and his master’s degree in law from the Katholieke Universiteit van Leuven in 2019, where he followed a programme focusing on international/European law and public law.
He also graduated with great distinction from the Master of Specialisation in Public International Law organised by the International Law Centre of the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2020.
During his master’s degree in public international law, he won the 2020 Rousseau International Moot Court Competition on behalf of the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
He began practising at the bar in November 2020, with the M13 lawyers’ association.
Since September 2021, he has also been an assistant in Public International Law and in the History of Institutions and Law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
His preferred subjects are immigration law, administrative law, social welfare, public international law and European law.
