Alain Detheux

Alain Detheux

Alain DETHEUX graduated in law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 1992.
He has been registered at the French Order of lawyers at the Brussels Bar since October 1992.
He essentially practices law of foreign subjects, administrative law, law of social assistance, and tenancy law, advising both individuals and public authorities for more than 20 years.
He has been a member of the joint committee on foreign subjects of the French Order of Lawyers at the Brussels Bar since 1996.
In June 1999, he was appointed by the Council of the French Order of Lawyers at the Brussels Bar as professor of law on foreign subjects for CAPA (Certificat d’Aptitude à la Profession d’Avocat) courses, which he still gives every year. He also teaches administrative litigation in CAPA courses.
By the royal decree of March 2000, he was named alternate member of the regularisation committee.
Since october 18, Me Alain Detheux is admitted on the List of Counsel at the International Criminal Court.
He is founding member of the M13 lawyers’ practice.
